McMinnville resident and Warren County native Phyllis Ann Brown, 56, was born Sept. 25, 1960 and died Oct. 14 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.A retired sales clerk, she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Nana Lou Johnson Melton Sr.She was married to Donnie Muncey of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Janice Brown of McMinnville and Rebecca Reed of Sparta; two stepsons, Gene Muncey and Joseph Muncey, both of McMinnville; eight grandchildren; best friend forever, Tammy Young of McMinnville; four brothers, David Melton of McMinnville, Robert Melton of Smithville, Lee Melton of Sparta, and Jr. Melton of Texas; sister Gail Melton of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
