Perry Anthony “Tony” Cope, 62, of Morrison, died Saturday, Oct. 1 at his residence. He was born Oct. 3, 1953, in McMinnville, was a longtime nurseryman and formerly served as general manager with Shady Valley Nursery before opening Witty Creek Nursery. He is the past president of TNLA. Mr. Cope was preceded in death by parents, R.L. and Sally Jo Locke Cope, and sister-in-law, Teresa Troutman Pressly.Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Troutman Cope, children Matthew Cope and Meredith Cope, sister, Gail (Bud) Franklin, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Vangie Troutman, and brothers-in-law, David (Cheryl) Troutman, Gary (Tammy) Troutman and Tom Pressly.
