Peggy Sue Bratcher Popplewell, 84

Peggy Sue Bratcher Popplewell, 84, passed away April 24, 2019 at her residence in Indiana. 

She was born in the Centertown community of Warren County on April 10, 1935 to the late Jessie T. and Stella McMahan Bratcher. She retired from Delco Remy General Motors after 32 years of service. She was a member of the UAW Local 662 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She attended the Southern Baptist Church much of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Larry D. Popplewell on Aug. 15, 2011.

Survivors are four children and spouses, Mary Robertson (John) of Kansas City, Mo., Kathy Popplewell-Miller (Joseph) of Anderson, Ind., Glenda Parsley (Wayne) of Deltona, Fla., and Larry Popplewell (Sharon) of Middletown, Ind.; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister Martha Valenson of Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, April 29, at Centertown Cemetery. There will be no visitation or service at High’s. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
