Rock Island resident and Franklin County native Pearlene Jane Ramsey, 90, was born March 4, 1925 and died Jan. 9 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired machine operator with Genesco and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lillie Belle Brown. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Ikeard and brothers, James Jones, Earl Jones, Willie Jones and Don Robertson.
