Paulette Stanley Bain, 66, of Smithville died Sunday night, Jan. 3, at Saint Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER.  
She was born April 25, 1949 to her parents James and the late, Dean Campbell Stanley. She was a faithful member of Smithville Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for over 30 years. She was a retired nurse who gave her all to her patients she cared for.  
She is survived by husband Randy Bain of Smithville; daughter Tammy Moser of Antioch; father James Stanley of Smithville; brother Steve Stanley of Smithville; special niece Karem Coker of Berry, Ala.; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Larry Bain of Smithville; and special friends, Joanie Williams, Rita Lankford and Margaret Ferrell.  
Funeral service was Thursday, Jan. 7, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dan Gulley officiating. Burial followed at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. In addition to flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Missionary Fund at Smithville Church of Christ, any Cancer Society, or to the charity of your choice.
