Mr. Paul Timothy Ray, 55, of McMinnville passed from this life on Saturday, Nov. 27, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro of a sudden illness.

Timmy was born Saturday, June 4, 1966 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Paul Ray and Edna Metts Ray. He was a veteran of Gulf War Era. He was a member of Smartt Baptist Church. He worked at Nissan Motor Manufacturing for 22 years. He was a member of the Flying Panthers Motorcycle Club of Nashville.

He was survived by his mother, Edna Christine Ray of McMinnville, two sons, Dustin Ray and Jacob Ray of McMinnville, brothers Greg Ray and wife Nancy of McMinnville, Terry Ray and wife Pam of McMinnville, sister Melody Luna of Mount Juliet, girlfriend, Gracie Davenport of McMinnville, grandson Zayden Ray of McMinnville, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Ray.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home in McMinnville. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Smartt with Danny Barnes officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com.
