McMinnville resident and Warren County native, Paul Jennings Rowland, 91, was born Oct. 30, 1928 and passed away Oct. 16 at his residence following a sudden illness.

The owner of Rowland Construction, a United States Army veteran of Korea, and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Everett Lavon and Flora Belle Green Rowland. He was married on May 19, 2007 to Jo Ellen Powers Rowland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Billie Joyce Rowland and daughter Linda Holland.

In addition to his second wife, Mr. Rowland is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Mike Goralski of McMinnville, three grandchildren, Bill Roberts, Travis Holland, and Anita West, all of McMinnville, two great-grandchildren Tosha Roberts and Naudia Stalcup, and four great-great-grandchildren, Shaquila, Chevy, Constance, and Daylan.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Smyrna Cemetery with Carolyn Goralski officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m. at High’s.
