Longtime McMinnville resident and Detroit, Mich., native Patricia Maria Mott, 74, died May 12 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
A retired truck driver and caretaker, she never retired from the game of Scrabble and was active in her church. She was a member of Blues Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved animals, good food, and rainy days. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Glenn Harding and husband, Howard E. Mott. She was the daughter of the late Lilburn (Lib) and Georgia Ruth Turner.
She is survived by daughter, Libbie Harding St. John and grandson, Darrell Winfree, both of McMinnville; stepdaughter, Donna Mainville of Newington, Conn.; stepgrandchildren, Richard, Ronnie, and Corey Mainville of Connecticut; sisters, Jo (Jim) Carter of Kentucky, Patricia (Gary) Miller and Lenora Edwards, all of Michigan; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 23, at Blues Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Lyon Walkup officiating. Burial will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery.
