Houston, Texas native, raised in Monterey, Mexico, Osbaldo “Luna” Rocha. 43, died Jan. 12 in McMinnville.
He is survived by parents, two brothers, one son and two daughters and extended family in Monterey, Mexico as well as special friends, Jeannie Nelson, the Holland family and the Cherie Brown family. He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers. He worked at The Detail Shop on Beersheba Highway and for Holland’s Concessions at the Warren County Fair.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at The Detail Shop on Beersheba Highway. Anyone who knew Luna is invited to come and will be given a chance to share any special memories they have of him. The memorial will be given by Shane Anderson. A funeral mass was held Feb. 28 at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame. He was cremated last week.
