Orville Lee Crisp, 84, of McMinnville passed from this life Monday, Aug. 17, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital.
Born Thursday, Dec. 26, 1935 in Woodbury, he was the son of the late Alton Crisp and the late Laura Alexander Crisp. Orville served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and retired from the General Service Administration.
Orville is survived by his wife Carmelita Caro Crisp, three daughters Catherine Marie Crisp, Christine Marie Crisp, and Gina Randall and husband Sean, two grandchildren Nathan Randall and Roen Randall, brother John Crisp, sister Maggie Martin, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Orville was preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar Crisp, Logan Crisp, and T.C. Crisp, and three sisters Ella Mae Perkins, Alberta Crisp, and Annie Macon.
Funeral service will be 12 p.m. on Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Smartt. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com.
