Norma Faye (Martin) Phillips, 87, of Midland died at 4 a.m. on Monday, March 19. She was born Norma Faye Martin to Richard and Martha Myers Martin on July 26, 1924 in Gainesville, Texas. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Phillips, one son, Larry Thomas Phillips, one grandson, Branum Welch, four brothers, and one sister.She is survived by her daughter, Marcia and husband, Don Ormand of Midland, Texas; daughter, Alethea and husband, Larry Dyer of League City, Texas; sister-in-law, Nell Martin of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Mark Kelly of Albuquerque, N.M.; Jessica Carrasco of Odessa, Texas; Brad Welch of Midland, Texas; and Jenna Dyer of League City, Texas.
