Nora Mae Tyler Wilson, 93

Nora Mae Tyler Wilson, 93, a Morrison resident and Davidson County native, died Nov. 23 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.
She was a homemaker, member of Caney Branch the Baptist Church and daughter of the late Horace and Nora Keisling Tyler.
She was married Oct. 19, 1946 to Wilborn Earl Wilson, who preceded her in death March 11, 1997. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Samuel K. Tyler.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by son, Morris (Fay) Wilson of Morrison; daughter, Helen (R. Lynn) Moore of Rock Island; grandchildren, Melony Diane Parton of McMinnville, Phillip (Amy) Parton of Woodbury, Kirk and Eric Wilson, both of Morrison; great-grandchildren, Shanda Paige of Alabama, Alec Ferguson of McMinnville, Ally and Jacob Parton, both of Woodbury. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at High’s Chapel. Officiating will be Leonard Herman, Doyle Sherrill and Chris Anderson. Interment will follow at Caney Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. Friday until time of service at High’s.
