Nerene Page Thompson, age 93, of Tullahoma, and former a Warren County resident, passed away on Sunday, May 29 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma.
She was born in Warren County Aug. 19, 1917 to her parents, the late Vernon Page and Etta Jones Page. She was also preceded in death by her husband, V.J. "Jimmy" Thompson; brother, Reverend Alex Clayton Page; brother, James Evert Page; and sisters, Vada May Bost,  Margaret Coats and Alma Holder. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Church of God. She is survived by her son, Howard I. Thompson and his wife Patricia of Tullahoma; two sisters, Martha Gertrude Hoover of Manchester and Myrna Ruth Pearsall of Centertown; brother, Arvle Lee Page and his wife Mozelle of McMinnville; Juanita Coats who was "just like a sister"; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral service was conducted May 31 at the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with the Rev. Roland Sharp officiating. Interment followed at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
Central Funeral Home of Manchester was in charge of arrangements.
