Naomi Bratcher Underhill, 85, died peacefully at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Nov. 3 at 3:58 p.m. with her three children by her side. She was under the care of hospice.Born on Feb. 1, 1931 in Smithville, her parents were Alvie Harding Bratcher and Minnie Amy Harmon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, J.P., Alvie Jr., and Bill Bratcher, and three sisters, Clara Mae Armour, Sybal Lawson, and Elsie Campbell.
