Morrison resident and Warren County native Nannie Lou Gunter, 75, was born Feb. 1, 1942 and died Feb. 27 at her residence following an extended illness.
A homemaker and member of the Pentecostal Church, she was the daughter of the late William Andrew and Masel Henson Roach. She was married Jan. 2, 1960 to Lee Roy Gunter, who preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 2016. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Bill Roach; and sister, Elizabeth Hayes.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Frankie and Penny Gunter of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law Laura and Mike Stevens of Tullahoma; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law, Clarence Roach of Morrison and Verble and Sandra Roach of McMinnville.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at High’s Chapel with Freeman Frothingham and Ernest Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
