Nancy Smith Cole Goodgine, 70, of Sterling Heights, Mich., (formerly of McMinnville) died Saturday, Aug. 25, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. She was born in Muncie, Ind., and was a retired cashier with Kroger, and worshiped locally with Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Butler and Margie Loreta Jordan Smith, and her first husband Robert Renshaw Cole.Survivors include her husband, James Goodgine of Sterling Heights; children, David Lee Cole of Warren, Mich., James K. and Tammy Cole of Madison Heights, and Charles D. and Joan Cole of Morrison; grandchildren, Robert Lee Cole, Sheila Diann Cole, Charles James Renshaw Cole, Ashley Marie Cole, Matthew Jacob Cole, and Joshua David Cole, great-grandchildren Victoria Diann Cole, Robert Lee Dale Cole, Brady Cole, Hennessee Cope, and Jamie Mikula, sister Sylvia and Les Smith of Kingston; and brother, David and Diana Smith of Huntsville, Ala.Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
