Nancy Evelyn Stone, 83, of McMinnville died Saturday, March 23, at Raintree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville. 

She was born April 4, 1935, in Big Stone Gap, Va., was a retired secretary, and was preceded in death by parents Charles Hershel and Sallie Victoria Harris Stone, daughter Janice Smith, son Timothy Stone, granddaughter Brinda Smith, sisters Inez Smith, Mabel Williams, Pauline Lawson, Mary Alice Stone, and Lottie Melson, and brothers Paul Stone and Charles H. Stone Jr.

Survivors include daughter Betty Marler, grandchildren Josh Smith, Roger Smith, Tanner Smith, A.J. Smith, and Elizabeth Smith, and son-in-law Doug (Wendy) Smith. Many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
