Muriel Nadine Hope Younglove Brown, 90, originally of New Jersey, passed away Feb. 11.She was born April 11, 1921 to William E. and Claire Nadine Hope of New York City and graduated from Plainfieled High School in New Jersey. Her first job was in Staten Island working as a telephone operator during World War II. She married Robert Seward Younglove in April 1945 and they lived in upstate New York and other locations prior to moving to McMinnville in 1968.She worked at Triangle Nursery for 15 years after raising her children and was an active member of First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, Acteen’s leader, choir member and helped begin the Reflectors senior program. She also made a mission trip to Venezuela.In 1993, after 21 years as a widow, she married Gideon Brown from Lucedale, Ms. where she moved and became involved in the community.
