Mrs. Mildred Ruth Kirby, 85, of McMinnville died Wednesday, May 15, at NHC Healthcare Center in McMinnville.She was born Nov. 9, 1927, in White County, was a retired factory worker, a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ at Bybee Branch. Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by parents Arthur Lane and Dora Ann LaFever Cunningham, husband Clarence Kirby Jr., son Allan Wayne Kirby, daughter-in-law Deanna Adcock Kirby, sisters Beulah Mae Cunningham and Ruby Stockman, and brother Kenneth Cunningham.Survivors include son Eddie Kirby, daughter and son-in-law Diane and Troy Sullens, grandchildren Shelley Wanamaker, Matt Kirby, Chris Sullens, and Carey Mullican, great-grandchildren Gage, Linley, and Paisley Wanamaker, Kadynce and Alex Kirby, Lexi and London Sullens, and Knox Mullican, sisters Myrtle Lee, Loraine Stone, Lillian Jones, Rowena Caperton, and Edna Hill, and brother Arthur Lane Cunningham Jr.Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Lawrence and Wayne Cantrell officiating.
