Mildred Pauline Myers, 82

McMinnville resident and Cannon County, native Mildred Pauline Myers, 82, was born Nov. 23, 1928 and died April 18 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.
A retired employee of Genesco and Aquatech and member of Pleasant View Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Bush and Nora Hollis. She was married to Lanis Jack Myers, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jackie Wayne Myers; sister, Grace Bush and two brothers, Thomas John Bush and Leonard Bush.
Mrs. Myers is survived by nine children and their spouses, Mary Frances Neal, Daisy Woodlee, Lucy and Gary Webster, Tony and Brenda Myers, Patsy and Mickey Davis, David Myers and Louise McCormick, all of McMinnville, and Nora and Johnny Haston and Peggy Byars, both of Rock Island; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sue and Ralph Taylor of Woodbury, and Dean Summers of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Kenneth Bush of Woodbury, and Jessie Bush of Indiana; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 8 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
