McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native Mildred Inez Glenn, 90, was born Oct. 20, 1922 and died June 28 at her residence following an extended illness.Retired from Gribble's Meat Processing and a member of the Church of Christ at Bybee Branch, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Sertie Ray Gribble. She was married Nov.10, 1945 to Leonard Woodrow Glenn who preceded her in death Nov. 11, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and J.B. Gribble.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Dwight Barrett of McMinnville; two granddaughters, Courtney Barrett of Gallatin and Lyndsey Bouldin and husband Tyler of McMinnville; step-grandson, Jason Barrett of Nashville; two sisters-in-law, Christine Gribble and Delores Glenn, both of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Harold Glenn of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and friends.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 1 in High's Chapel with Tony Lawrence officiating.
