Michael Lee Rhea, 63

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Michael Lee Rhea, 63, was born May 5, 1951 and died March 6 at the Nashville Veterans Hospital following an extended illness.
A retired home builder, a United States Army veteran and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Dollie Roberts Rhea of McMinnville and the late Harold Loyd Rhea. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by first wife, Carolyn Fults Rhea and second wife, Linda Hobbs Rhea.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Michael L. Rhea Jr., Richard Rhea and Jeremy W. Rhea, all of McMinnville; stepdaughter, Angela George and husband Marty of the Green Hill community; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Patricia G. Martin of McMinnville and Jennifer Elaine Bowditch of Arizona; several nieces and nephews; and best friend and companion, Terry Boyd of McMinnville.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Pokie George officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
