Bruceton resident and Jackson native Michael Anthony "Tony" Lancaster, 66, was born Nov. 21, 1946 and died July 31 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntington following a brief illness.A city recorder for 24 years with the town of Bruceton and a member of Bascom First United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late John William and Willie Margaret Baker Lancaster.He was married to Edith Irene Marcrom Lancaster of Bruceton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Gretchen Lancaster of Pleasant View; son, Will (Katherine) Lancaster of Camden; two grandsons, Caden Anthony Lancaster and Michael Keith Lancaster; sister, Barbara Boysen of Cobden, Ill.; and sister-in-law, Martha Marcrom of Morrison.Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Noel Edwards and Scotty Davis officiating.
