Melba Lucille Turner, 86, a Warren County resident and native, was born Jan. 2, 1932 and died Feb. 9 following an extended illness. She was a breast cancer survivor of 29 years, retired employee of Oster and Genesco, member of Shellsford Baptist Church and daughter of the late Clarence Merle and Emma Brown Dodd Hawkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Irving Andrew Turner; and sister Mamie Pedigo.
