Mazil L. Lawrence, 86, of McMinnville died Saturday, April 16 at Manchester Health Care Center after an extended illness. She was born in McMinnville on June 25, 1924, the daughter of the late Frank and Josie E. (Smith) Ritchey.She was the widow of the late Earl J. Lawrence of McMinnville and was a homemaker and member of Blues Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.She is survived by three daughters, Judy L. and husband Billie Hale of McMinnville; Eliane C. and husband Jimmy Walker of McMinnville; Regina F. Solmon of McMinnville; four sons, Richard R. Lawrence, Anthony E. Lawrence, Rickey L. Lawrence, Kermitt K. Lawrence, all of McMinnville; a sister, Rosezetta Page of Murfreesboro; a brother, Aris E. and wife Gearldean Ritchey of McMinnville; eight grandchildren La-Fonda Burch and husband Mack, Lou-Shawna Scott and husband Wayne, Trina Koltay and husband Mike, Rachel Anderson and husband Danny, Charles Rigsby and wife Brigett, Franklin Rigsby, Crystal Lance, Andrew Lawrence; 11 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by husband, Earl J. Lawrence, one son , Lannie Lawrence, parents, Frank and Josie (Smith) Ritchey; three brothers, Doris-Earl Ritchey, Floyd Ritchey, Johnnie Ritchey; one sister, Mary-Ellen Melton; one granddaughter, Sabrina Merritt. Funeral service will be held at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home Chapel McMinnville at 1 p.m. today with Lyon Walkup officiating.
