Hermitage resident and Warren County native Maurine Green Rogers, 94, was born Sept. 22, 1920 and died Aug. 22 at McKendree Village in Hermitage following an extended illness.A homemaker and longtime member of Viola Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John Freelin and Stella Webb Green. She was married Oct. 13, 1940 to J.G. Rogers who preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1996. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Sarah Davis; four brothers, Aubrey, Loyd, Ewin and Hoyte Green; and three sisters, Mary Nadine Green, Mildred Smith and Virginia Meadows.
