Mr. Maurice Lloyd Driver, 89, of Morrison died Monday, Oct. 18, at NHC Health Care in McMinnville.

He was born Oct. 9, 1932, in Smithville, was a former school teacher, retired farmer, and a member of Hebron Church of Christ. He was a military veteran, serving in the Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Driver was preceded in death by parents Henry P. and Effie Love Driver, wife Dena Bell Driver, sister Sylvia Brigman, and brothers Houston, Roy, Garlin, H.D. and Winston Driver.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Celeste and Kevin Hill, significant other Jo Eva Davis, and special friends Tommy and Misti Davis, and special grandchildren Will, and Eli Davis. Other family members and friends also survive.

Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Wayne Cantrell will officiate. Interment will follow at Bascom Cemetery. Military grave rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 173 and the VFW Post 5064. The Driver family will receive friends Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
