Jason Matthew Snodgrass, 48, a McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native, was born April 29, 1972 and passed Aug. 24 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was of the Christian faith, the owner of Mighty Clean Auto Plus, and the son of Patricia Ann Maxwell Snodgrass and the late Leonard Lee Snodgrass. He was also preceded in death by grandparents, Clay and Christine Snodgrass, and Carlos and Lillian Maxwell.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Lindsay Katelyn Snodgrass (Cody Scott) Parkhurst, and Kelsi Leanne Snodgrass (Matt Cupples) all of McMinnville, grandson, Declan Knox Parkhurst of McMinnville, aunt and uncle, Judy and Joe Bob Mills of Murfreesboro, and cousin Julie Parrish.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at the Oasis Church in McMinnville with Dillon Rowland officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oasis Church. After the services, Mr. Snodgrass will be cremated. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
