Memphis resident and McMinnville native Matthew “Jimmy” James Baker, 25, died unexpectedly July 31 at Regional One Health Fire Fighter’s Burn Unit in Memphis.Born Feb. 7, 1992, he is survived by his mother, Marianne Marie Webster and stepfather, Jay Alan Webster of Morrison; sisters and brother-in-law, Treasure Ann King of McMinnville, Charity Grace Jones and Michael Jones of Rock Island and Brittany Jaye Webster of McMinnville; brothers, Michael Wimberly Baker of Cookeville and Jay Alan Webster Jr. of Morrison; grandparents, Randall and Carol Robertson, Irene and Wayne Gill, all of Mt. Juliet; aunts and uncles, Patty and Taylor Rucker of Lebanon, Becky and Mark Williams of McMinnville, James and Alecia Baker of South Carolina and Randall Robertson of Florida; nieces and nephews, Kayden Brooke Paine of McMinnville, Michael Jones Jr. of McMinnville; cousins Cash Williams of McMinnville and Linkyn Rucker and Lennox Rucker, both of Lebanon.He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Albert C. and Mary Josephine Robertson, Jessie Marie and Frank Anthony Thomas.A celebration of life for friends and family will be held Aug. 19 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Redemption Center at 127 Northgate Drive with Steve Madison officiating services at 2 p.m.
