Mary Virginia Deweese, 85, went to be with her Lord Thursday Sept. 28, 2022. Virginia was a Van Buren County native born on Aug. 27, 1937 to the late Arzie Gordon and Dovie Della Manus Simmons. Virginia was a member of Plainview Free-will Baptist Church, worked at Fraley’s Furniture, University of Tennessee Spencer Office and the garment factory in Spencer as payroll clerk and office personnel.
