Rock Island resident and Warren County native Mary Margaret Dunlap Smith, 77, was born Sept. 3, 1937 and died Aug. 31 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro following a brief illness. A homemaker and a member of Rock Island Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Euclid Miller and Lillie Sherrell Dunlap. She was married Dec. 6, 1952 to William Fred Smith, who preceded her in death on April 2, 2002.
