Nashville resident and Warren County native Mary Lou Barnes Curtis, 99, was born June 11, 1917 and died Aug. 9 at Trevecca Health and Rehab Center in Nashville following a brief illness. A retired teacher with Warren County Head Start and a member of the Church of Christ at St. Mary, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Vernon and Lula Mae Nunley Barnes. She was married to Lowell Curtis, who preceded her in death March 1, 1969.
