Mary J. Cochran, 62, died Feb. 16.
She was born in Indianapolis, Ind., where she resided most of her life, and presently lived in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and had previously lived in McMinnville. She had worked as a legal secretary for White and Johnson, later worked for the state of Indiana and had been an active member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. She had been involved with Girl Scouts and was a devout Notre Dame football fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jean Luichinger, and sister-in-law, Sue Luichinger.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jeff; daughter, Alexandra Cochran of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Mark Luichinger of Clarkson, Mich.; sister, Susan Luichinger of Indianapolis, Ind., and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no local calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place. A casual celebration of her life will be held at the Keystone Sheraton in Indianapolis on March 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of other remembrances, she and her dog Ginger - who she is now with - would ask memorials be made to Golden Treasures Golden Retriever Rescue, P.O.
