Mary Edith Herriman, 93, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Sept. 9, 1927 and died April 11 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.

She was retired from Genesco, a member of West Riverside Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Edgar Lloyd and Sara Ann Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Logan D. Herriman Sr., brother Edgar Cantrell, and son-in-law Lee Cantrell.

Mrs. Herriman is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Demier and Sally Herriman Sr. of Manchester, daughter, Ann Cantrell of McMinnville, two grandchildren, Allen (Sheba) Cantrell of Nashville, and Matthew (Amanda) Cantrell of McMinnville, and five great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Austin, Timothy, Michael, and Allen Cantrell. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at High’s Chapel with Drew Milligan officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville.
