Chattanooga resident Mary C. Grove Rogers died Dec. 12 after a short illness.Born Nov. 25, 1925 in Warren County, she was a retired teacher, a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and a member of the Nancy Ward, DAR Chapter.She is survived by her husband of 63 years Walter Rogers of Chattanooga; two daughters Barbara Lee of Buford, Ga., Judy (Lee) Thomas of New Market, Ala., four grandchildren, and sister Wilma Jean Yancy of McMinnville.She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Ella Mae Grove of Viola; son-in-law Jimmy Lee of Buford, Ga., sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Greer Ruble of Kingsport; brother-in-law Don Yancy and nephew Bill Yancy of McMinnville. Funeral service was held Dec. 15 at Chattanooga North Chapel with Rev Bert Jones, Dr. Fred Steelman and Bill Harvey officiating.
