Mary Beth Judkins, 60, of McMinnville died Thursday, Nov. 5, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.
She was born Sept. 12, 1960, in McMinnville, was a surgical technician, member of Madison Street Baptist Church, volunteered for the Hope Center, was an excellent softball player, and a diehard Lady Vols – Pat Summit fan. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Nelson Judkins and nephew Cory Judkins.
Mary Beth is survived by her mother Lounette Hayes Judkins, sisters Margaret Judkins (Caleb Pollitt) and Patsy (James) Black, brothers Larry (Phyllis) Judkins and Gary (Sheri) Judkins, nieces and nephews Clint Judkins, Carrie (Daron) Sherrell, Kylie (Hondo) Pease, John Judkins, Jeremy Godwin, Marcy (Brad) Bolding, and Brandon Black, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Harlen Simmons and Carl Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The Judkins family will receive friends Sunday from 12 p.m. noon until 2 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. The family requests wearing facial masks and social distancing.
