McMinnville resident and Floyd County, Ind., native Mary Anne Trent, 71, was born Aug. 12, 1941 and died Sept. 9 at her residence following an extended illness.A retired secretary from RCA Record Company, she was the daughter of the late Curtis A. and Cecelia R. Volpert Daugherty. She was married to Jerry W. Trent, who preceded her in death 1998.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Allen Voss of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Ron Barkman of Woodstock, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Kathleen Daugherty of North Carolina; aunt, Elizabeth Park of New Albany, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.A memorial service will be announced at a later date.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
