McMinnville resident and Warren County native Marva Jean Hughes, 74, was born Sept. 17, 1941 and died Aug. 14 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro following an extended illness. A retired hospital controller with Southern Tennessee Medical Center and a member of West Riverside Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Marvin and Dorothy Charlene Panter Coppinger. She was married to her husband of 57 years, Dorris Hughes of McMinnville.
