Mrs. Martha Jane Jones, 92, of McMinnville (Daylight Community) died Friday, Feb. 6, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.
She was born Jan. 29, 1923 in Warren County, was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Franklin and Emma Novella Youngblood Freed, husband Isaac Daniel Jones, and sons Daniel Franklin Jones and Donald Ray Jones.
Survivors include her children Judy (James) Waisanen, Helen (Kenny) Ware, Gary (Pam) Jones, and Chuck (Cheryl) Jones, daughter-in-law Joyce Jones, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dennis Clark will officiate. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Cannon County. The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and again from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
