Mrs. Martha Bell Smartt Turner, 85, of McMinnville died Saturday, Feb. 24, at NHC HealthCare Center in McMinnville. She was born Feb. 7, 1933, in Viola, was a homemaker, a retired employee of Magnetek Century Electric, and attended the Church of Christ. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by parents Andy and Nettie Braxton Smartt, husband Ernest Parker Turner, son Mike Smartt, sister Mary Lou Smartt Hoover, and brothers William Harrison Smartt, James Andrew Smartt, and Thomas Herman Smartt.
