Marie Jeannette Moore, 83, a Rock Island resident and Painesville, Ohio native, was born Aug. 4, 1933 and died Dec. 11 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of Friendship Baptist Church and daughter of James and Leota Powell Mayor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Clarence M. Moore; grandson Vandy Fults; brothers Kenneth and James Mayor; and sisters Elsie Mayor, Charlene Lutz and Ruth Fenton.
