McMinnville resident and Warren County native Magnolia Solomon, 85, was born May 19, 1935 and passed away Nov. 27 at her residence.
A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Ethel Buchannon Grayson. She was married to Harold Solomon of McMinnville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Clarence and Sherman Solomon, daughter Bernice Sanford, and son-in-law Jerry McReynolds.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children and daughter-in-law, Thurman William Crisp of McMinnville, Harold Alexander and Jacobia Solomon of Mansfield, Texas, and Annette McReynolds of McMinnville, 12 grandchildren, Latasha Crisp, Laryssa Hill, Casey Crisp, Shawn Crisp, Lashay Solomon, Neisha McReynolds, Tamika McReynolds, Tyron Wood and wife, Diamond, Akinde Solomon, Ayane Solomon, LeKeshua Malone, and Antoine Solomon, 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at High’s Chapel with Virgil Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at High’s. Wearing a mask and practicing social distancing is requested by the family.
