Macie D. Tate, 89McMinnville resident and Giles County native Macie D. Tate, 89, was born Dec. 3, 1922 and died Sept. 3 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following a brief illness.A retired employee of Rockford Textile Mills and member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John and Jessie Hickman Colvett. She was married to Roy Forrest Tate, who preceded her in death Dec. 23, 1996.
