Lyla Inez Hodges, 82, of Spencer died Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Life Care Center of Sparta.She was born Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1933 in Spencer and was the daughter of the late Landon Hale and Roshie Pack Hale. She was a member of the Church of God and is survived by son, Glenn Hodges and wife Pam, two daughters, Brenda Campbell and husband Roger, and Carolyn Cole and husband Bobby; two grandchildren, Bobby Hodges and wife Kristy, and Jarrod Campbell and wife Tiffany; three great-grandchildren; brother, Landon Hale Jr. and wife Kathy; two sisters, Gail Anderson and husband Rhea; Shella Forsythe and husband, Don.In addition to her parents, Inez was preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy Medley, and Willie Hale Simmons, and brother Glenn Hale.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Spencer Funeral Home with Kenneth Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Long Cemetery in Spencer.
