Spencer resident and Warren County native Lucille Shockley, 84, was born Jan. 26, 1930 and died Jan. 19 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. A retired restaurant cook and factory worker and a member of Piney Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Odell and Beulah Mai Hale Simmons. She was married Aug. 8, 1948 to James Louis Shockley, who preceded her in death Oct. 8, 2008.
