Louise Webb Hollins, 87, of Rock Island died Sunday, April 7 at River Park Hospital.
She was born March 30, 1926, in Warren County and was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan William and Nancy Ann Boyd Webb, husband Teddy (Ted) Hollins, sisters Susan Taylor and Grace Franzen, and brothers Lloyd and Jennings Webb. She was employed at Oster for many years and a short time at Irving College School. After she and Ted married, they moved to Madison where she worked in the business office at the University of Tennessee at Nashville. The couple later moved back to Rock Island where they owned and operated Hollins Lock & Key for many years until they retired.
Survivors include children, Dr. Robert Fisher of Brownsville, Texas, and Kathie (Jeff) Farmer of St. Marys, Ga.; grandchildren, David (Stacy) Farmer of Castle Pines, Co., Chris (Stacey) Farmer of Frisco, Texas, Jason (Becky) Farmer of Akron, Ohio, and Jennifer (Aaron) Fiedler of Wausau, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Hallie, Helmsley, Cameron, Emma, Grace and Hope; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Doug Dunlap will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., and again Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rock Island Presbyterian Church or to the building fund at Rock Island Lion’s Club.
