McMinnville resident and Macon County native Louise “Mama Tubb” Tubb, 93, died June 29 at her home after an extended illness.A homemaker and a member of Unity Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Claudia Kemp Wilmore and was preceded in death by her husband, Tilman Tubb; son, Billy Tubb; grandsons, Jerry Orrick and Rickey Tubb; son-in-law, Jewell Wilson; sisters, Ruth Davis and Flossie Bost; and brothers, Harry, Julian and Guy Eugene Wilmore.She is survived by children and their spouses, Bobby and Helen Tubb, Inez and Verlon Orrick, Eva and Donnie Hendricks, and Sandra Wilson, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Michael and David Orrick, Terri Foutch, Sherry and Valerie Tubb, Pamela Jones, Anthony Hendricks, Annette Kilgore, Cynthia Burch and Eddie Wilson; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.Services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at High’s Chapel with Roger Hamlet officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
