Lou Davis Warren Higgins, 97, died at her home in Woodbury on Tuesday, Aug. 22, four days before her 98th birthday. She was a native of Warren County.She is survived by her children, Jimmy and Connie Higgins, Glenn and Judy Higgins, Steve and Karen Higgins, all of Woodbury; daughter-in-law, Barbara Higgins of Woodbury; two half brothers, Albert Warren of Smithville and Bob Warren of McMinnville; grandchildren Kim Fann, Tommy (Sandra) Higgins, Tina Graves, Candace (Rob) Baker, Tim Higgins, Tracey (Darrell) Duncan, Ted (Lisa) Higgins, Deana (Nick) Bain, Darla (Jesse) Cunningham, Clint (Gretchen) Higgins; great-grandchildren, Eden Fann, Erin (Dustin) Toy, Jamie (April) Higgins, Ethan and Emilee Graves, Charlie Baker, Ariel (Ben) Samons, Alex (Evan) Higgins, Austin Higgins, Adam (Jamie) Higgins, Matthew Higgins and Caleb Higgins, Jason Douglas, Blake Douglas, Brady Cunningham, Briley Cunningham, Kole and Kennedi Higgins, Alana Paschal and Autumn Bain; great-great-grandchildren, Jayden Toy, Hadley Higgins, Cadence Higgins, Jeb Higgins, Elliana Higgins, Ryan and Jack Samons.She was preceded in death by her parents, Will Warren and Willie Mae Sanders Warren; husband, Brady Higgins, son David Higgins and grandson, Darrell Higgins.Lou Davis, or “Granny” as all her family and closest friends affectionately called her, was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great- and great-great-grandmother. She was also one of the best mothers-in-law God ever made. he was always about business of serving others her entire life.
