Lonia Mai Tate, 97, of Woodbury passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was a native of Cannon County. Survivors include her children, Jimmy and Brenda Tate, Windol and Joann Tate, both of Woodbury, Joel and Marlyn Tate of McMinnville, Gayle and Karen Tate, and Jeanne and Mike Melton, both of Woodbury; grandchildren, Steven and Meagan Tate, Angela Mullinax, Whitney, Christopher, and Nickolas Tate, Heather Melton, and Hope Young; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Hayes, Laney Mullinax, Dani Young, Michael and Tate Melton-Green.
