Lois Rabon, 90

Lois Rabon, 90, a McMinnville resident and Walton County, Fla., native died March 17 at Harton Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness. 
She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist Church and daughter of the late John Shoven and Mittie Melinda Nowling Gavin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Sonny Casey; son-in-law, Pete Maloy; grandsons Gary Maloy and Foster Maloy, and granddaughter, Betty Carol Robinson.
Mrs. Rabon was married Aug. 9, 1957 to Carl William Rabon, who survives. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mary Carolyn Maloy of Ocala, Fla., and Linda Diane (Thomas) Turvin of Ashford, Ala.; one son, Dennis Marvin (Lois Ann) Casey of Viola; daughter-in-law, Betty Casey of Walton County, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral service and interment will be at noon Saturday at Viola Cemetery. Family members will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
